Work we handle

Aging-in-place handyman services
A safer home that still feels like home.
Thoughtful handyman improvements for homeowners who want to remain comfortable, confident, and independent in the home they know.
A dependable process
One request. One accountable thread.
Aging-in-place work is most useful before a close call forces a rushed decision. We listen to the homeowner and family, walk through practical concerns, and create a prioritized plan that can be completed in manageable service visits.
Requests received before 4 PM on a business day receive a human response that day. Later requests receive a response by noon the next business day. Every scheduled visit includes written confirmation, an on-the-way update, and communication if plans meaningfully change.

Common questions
Aging-in-Place Improvements, answered.
Still deciding where your project fits? Call or text (870) 706-3199 and we will point you in the right direction.
What are the most useful aging-in-place improvements to start with?
Bathrooms first, then lighting, then thresholds. Grab bars at the toilet and in the shower, better light at stairs and hallways, and removing raised transitions between rooms address the situations that cause the most falls. These are also modest, quick improvements rather than renovations.
Will grab bars make my home look like a hospital?
No. Current grab bars come in finishes that match normal bath hardware, and some double as towel bars or shower shelves. The goal is a home that is safer and still looks like your home, which is why we walk the house with you rather than working from a standard checklist.
How are grab bars anchored so they actually hold?
Into structure — studs or solid blocking — never into drywall or tile alone. A bar fastened to a tile face with hollow anchors will eventually fail, and it fails at the moment someone puts their weight on it. Anchoring is the entire job; the bar itself is the easy part.
Can you do the work in stages instead of all at once?
Yes, and most families prefer it. We walk through the home, agree a prioritized list, and complete it across manageable service visits so the house is never disrupted and the cost is never one large number.
Do you work with adult children arranging this for a parent?
Often. We can coordinate with someone out of the area by phone or email while keeping the homeowner in charge of decisions in their own home. Requests received before 4 PM on a business day receive a human response that day. Later requests receive a response by noon the next business day.
